Wed May 22, 2013
I know! Where are the women? If I had 25,000 men staring at me, I'd probably try to withdraw from the situation, too. None of these people in the picture are smiling. At all. I respect all religions, but really, this woman must have been extremely nervous with all eyes on her. All male.

What could happen to you: tales of big lottery winners

Jean - You're wrong. These so-called "scandals" won't affect anyone. The IRS "scandal" was a mess but, I am not personally affected by it. Winning $600 million, however, will affect my life in more ways than I could imagine. BTW - "Affect" is used as a verb, while "effect" is used as a noun.

Little boys are definitely different! I distinctly remember one time when I had packed all the toddler supplies, stroller, etc. in my car to go on a shopping trip with my son. When we got inside the store, 12 ft. away from the door, he decided he'd had enough and wasn't moving. He lay on …

Angelina Jolie: I had double mastectomy because of high breast cancer risk
Tue May 14, 2013
Jacques - Did you miss the part about Angelina watching her mother die of cancer? I'm sure she didn't make this decision lightly. A lot of thought, emotion, caring factored into her decision.
'This is it': Barbara Walters to announce retirement
Sun May 12, 2013
I agree. While I admire her achievements as a woman in the news media, when female reporters were scarce, her self-importance was getting tiring and boring. She acted like she was the most important woman on the panel. However, I strongly disagree with your last comment about a woman bei …

Most tattooed people I know, including my husband, son and daughter-in-law are NOT scary. At all. My husband is retired, my son holds an IT position and my dil is a nurse. Pretty normal people. I am not tattooed at all, but that is my personal choice, as it is everyone's.

Dad says watching childbirth put him off sex for a year; women play world's tiniest violin for him
Yes, but I asked him to stay up by my head, away from the action.
My husband was there at our son's birth and even told me about watching them put the afterbirth in a bucket! He is normally a squeamish guy and I was surprised he didn't pass out at the birth, although he did feel dizzy while I was in labor and pushing.
Why are you yelling at women here? This article was about men and how birth affected them negatively. That's all. I'm guessing you don't have kids and was never involved in the birth process. If that's true, then what do you care? You need to get over yourself, Mr. Man! I mean, Mr. Troll.
Vincent - My male doctor - OB/GYNs, back in the day, normally were - encouraged me to have more babies. I had gestational diabetes, high blood pressure and toxemia during my pregnancy, which made it somewhat dangerous for me and my son.
Are Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang too mean for today's kids? Good grief!

Parents debate whether it's OK to let kids pee in public
No! It's just not right.
JP - I clean restrooms in my part-time job at an amusement park. I will attest that women's bathrooms are the absolute worst. My husband was surprised, as he thought it would be the men's.
